Serbia and Croatia in the same group at the Olympic Basketball Tournament

But first both national teams must secure participation in the Tokyo Games through qualifying tournaments.

If the Serbian national team manages to triumph in the qualifying tournament to be played in Belgrade, it could be in the same group with Croatia, which is the organizer of the tournament in Split, at the Tokyo Olympics.

At today's draw, the groups for the changed Olympic basketball tournament were determined. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo, instead of having two groups with six national teams each, there will be three groups with four national teams each.

Group A includes Iran, France and the United States and will be the winner of a qualifying tournament in Canada.
Group B includes Australia, Nigeria and will be the winners of the tournaments in Belgrade and Split. Argentina, Japan, Spain and the winner of the tournament in Kaunas will play in Group C.

Today, the groups of the women's Olympic tournament were determined, where all 12 national teams that will play in Tokyo are known.
In group A are J. Korea, Canada, Spain and Serbia.
Group B includes Japan, Nigeria, the United States and France, while Group C consists of Australia, Puerto Rico, China and Belgium.
