According to the UN, Russia forcibly deported up to 1,6 million Ukrainians

The American representative in the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council, Michelle Taylor, said today that Russia forcibly deported between 900.000 and 1,6 million Ukrainians. She referred to unnamed sources.

Taylor called on the relevant UN Commission to conduct an investigation into these allegations.

- We call on the members of the Commission to continue to investigate the growing amount of evidence of Russian forced deportation and disappearance operations, emphasized Taylor in his address to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
