Rescuers have found a survivor in a Siberian coal mine. They did not reveal his identity or where he was found.

The death toll in yesterday's mining accident today rose to 52.

Some Russian media reported that 46 miners were killed and six were rescuers.

A fire was reported yesterday morning in the Listvinanaya mine in the town of Gramotejno, in the Siberian region of Kemerovo, where numerous coal mines are located. There were 285 people in the mine at the time of the accident.

The mine is owned by SDS-Ugol, one of Russia's largest coal producers.
