Searching for survivors, rescuers in Gaziantep, Turkey, found a bag with nearly two million dollars under the rubble. The rescue teams, after counting the money, handed over the bag to the police.

- Our people, first of all, go to save lives, and at the same time they also find the personal belongings of the people from the areas affected by the earthquakes. The money has been handed over to the police and this is not the first time something like this has happened - the head of the local fire service, Chafer Yilmaz, told the "Anatolia" agency.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced that their Russian rescuers found 150 thousand dollars under the ruins of one of the buildings and that the money was handed over to the police.

The death toll in Turkey has exceeded 40, according to the country's disaster management. But this figure is expected to rise as hundreds of thousands of homes were destroyed in the February XNUMX earthquakes and many people are still missing.
