Handball World Cup: Spain, Denmark, Germany and Brazil secure quarterfinals
The handball players of Spain with the victory of 27:23 over Croatia in the second round of the main round, they secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Women's Handball World Cup, which is played in Spain.
Besides Spain, Germany, Denmark and Brazil also secured a place in the quarterfinals of groups 3 and 4.
Croatia was an equal opponent only until the end of the first part after which the Spaniards with a good game in defense made a series of 3: 0 and went on vacation with a lead of 12: 9. In the second half, the host of the World Cup had complete control over the game and the result and without any problems came to a triumph of 27:23 which took them to the quarterfinals.
Barbosa with six and Campos and Espinola with four goals each were the best in Spain, while in the ranks of Croatia Blazevic stood out with seven and Debelic with four goals.
Previously, a triumph worth a place in the quarterfinals was achieved by Brazil over Argentina with 24:19.
In group 3, Germany with 37:28 beat South Korea, while Denmark and allowed the Czech Republic to score only 14 goals in 60 minutes (29:14).
