A quarantine owner tried to shear the dog herself, the result is "sore eyes"
Home insulation indisputably limits us all and shortens some of the luxuries we are used to. Hairdressers and beauty salons, numerous shops and boutiques are closed, so we are not able to take care of the look as we want. Nevertheless, the bravest - or perhaps the most desperate - among us are taking matters into their own hands. If nothing else, their exploits can make us smile, reminding us to respect professionals who have spent time, money and effort learning how to do their job.
Hermione Olivia did not learn that lesson in a difficult way. During the isolation, because she could not take her sweet Pomeranian Mesh to the pet hairdresser, she decided to cut it herself.
"Obviously we are in quarantine, so I took on Mesh's haircut… I did not expect such an outcome," Hermione told the Bordeaux Panda portal.
How hard can it be to shave a dog? Well, obviously harder than you think. If you do not believe, look what poor Mash looks like after the "adjustment"!
Hermione's attempt is a total owl. She sewed it on her Instagram account - We never sewed it ourselves. We bought scissors and started… It seems that the scissors were not the right size, and we probably should not have even started from the head - ops!
Some of the comments compared poor Mash to an Easter bunny or kangaroo.
Hermione says she initially felt "guilty and ashamed" about the attempt. But when she saw the reactions of the people who came across the photos of the sheared dog, she looked at the situation a little more positively - I am happy that I gave people a little humor in these strange times.
Hermione says that Mesh's hair grows slowly but surely and the fur returns to normal.
