There is a shortage of certificates in primary and secondary schools across the country, and according to the information of the Independent Trade Union for Education and Science (SONK), only ninth-graders and high school graduates received certificates.

The President of SONK, Jakim Nedelkov, for "Free Press" says that this is a problem at the state level, and if it is not resolved by the end of this month, students could receive their certificates in August.

- This is a problem on a global level. Our information says that this is an unrealized tender procedure, which means that there is a problem who will print the certificates, when that will happen and when they will be distributed. In that sense, it seems that if the tender procedure is not completed, although no certificates have been distributed so far, the question arises whether the distribution of certificates will be reached by the end of this month, or eventually it will be in another month, on example august - says Nedelkov.

He pointed out that ninth graders and high school graduates received certificates because they need to enroll in high school or college, as well as that it is probably about old stock of certificates, because new as he says, no.

She is also familiar with this problem Independent Trade Union for Education and Science (NSON), whose president Tomislav Gievski in conversation with Free Press called on the authorities to solve this problem as soon as possible, so as not to increase the workload of teachers.

- As a result of disorganization of the competent institutions in most of the schools, certificates are still missing. We, as a union, have made efforts to find out the reason for this problem, but we have not yet received an answer, and we appeal to all competent institutions to complete all their responsibilities as soon as possible and to leave space for teachers to be complete the pedagogical intervention on time - said Gievski.

For now there is no response from the competent institutions regarding the problem of lack of certificates in primary and secondary schools across the country.
