The Assembly will hold its 12th session

Today, the Assembly will hold its 12th session, which includes several draft laws in the first reading in the field of health and the Draft Law on amending the Law on Health Care, in the second reading.

On the agenda in the first reading are the proposals for amending the laws on protection against ionizing radiation and radiation safety, on biomedical assisted fertilization, on termination of pregnancy, on records in the field of health, on the prohibition of developing, producing, storing and using chemical weapons, proposals for amending the laws on safety in the blood supply, on mental health, on the continuous professional development of doctors of medicine and the Draft Law on amending the Law on Voluntary Health Insurance.

On the agenda of today's parliamentary session, among other items, are several draft laws following abbreviated procedure: to amend the Law on Financing of Local Self-Government Units, to amend the Law on Culture, to amend and supplement the Law on Urban Planning , on amending the Law on transportation of dangerous substances in road and rail traffic, on amending the Law on transportation on road traffic, on amending the Law on game and hunting, on amending and supplementing the Law on sports...

As well as the draft laws in the first reading - for the declaration of Matka Canyon as a natural monument, for the declaration of Studencishko Blato as a nature park and the draft law for the declaration of Lake Ohrid as a natural monument.

The proposal-decision for the establishment of a Commission of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia for monitoring the appropriate and fair representation of citizens belonging to all communities will also be before the MPs.
