47 blood units collected in a blood donation campaign in Delchevo
The regular blood donation action for the month of August was held in Delchevo today, organized by the Municipal organization of the Red Cross in cooperation with the Institute for transfusion medicine from Stip, with respect to the protocols for blood donation in conditions of Kovid-19.
- Today we are in Delchevo where we carry out the regular blood donation action, in accordance with the protocols for protection from Kovid-19. We are satisfied with the turnout of the humane citizens, who during the day donated 47 blood units, which are needed in conditions when we have a pandemic, said Monika Stoileva, from the Institute for Transfusion Medicine from Stip.
The Institute added that the Red Cross Delchevo is among the better municipal organizations, where since the beginning of the year until almost every month the average donation is about 50 blood units.
According to the plan, tomorrow, a blood donation campaign will be realized with the humanitarian citizens from the Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica.
