The collection of evidence for the serious traffic accident of the Macedonian bus on the Struma highway in Bulgaria has been completed and the investigation is nearing completion. "A huge amount of evidence is currently being gathered to clarify the objective truth," he told BTA spokeswoman for the chief prosecutor Siyka Mileva.

The incident happened at the end of November, when a bus registered from RS Macedonia caught fire and more than 40 people, including children, died. The tourists traveled from Turkey to Northern Macedonia.

- What remains to be done is to send a request for legal assistance to Skopje, in order to inform and get to know the relatives of the victims. According to Bulgarian law, they have the right to file a civil lawsuit in court and get acquainted with the materials from the pre-investigation procedure, Mileva added.
