This was agreed upon the meeting between representatives of the initiative "On wheelsAnd the mayor of Municipality of Gjorce Petrov Aleksandar Stojkoski, in order, as informed by this Skopje municipality, to find a way to facilitate the daily life of urban cyclists.

The initiative "On Wheels" addressed electronically to the Mayor Aleksandar Stojkoski and requested a meeting, which was realized in the municipality of Gjorce Petrov. It is about starting mutual cooperation with the new leadership of the municipality, ie finding a way to facilitate the everyday life of urban cyclists. Proposals were given by the initiative for the steps to pedestrian and bicycle Gjorce Petrov, and thus providing better public space. It was also about freeing the sidewalks from vehicles, dislocating the poorly placed urban equipment and expanding the sidewalks and the entire public space - informed the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov.

The Municipality, among other things, explains that the meeting also discussed bicycle parking in all public areas, subsidies for bicycles and bicycle equipment, days without cars, etc.

In general, in order to improve the movement of pedestrians and cyclists, the municipality in cooperation with the police station in Gjorce Petrov is already conducting an action to clear the main streets of improperly parked vehicles. Events will be organized throughout the municipality to promote the culture of cycling, which would have an educational and fun character for all categories of citizens - conclude the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov.
