"Strength is a rock, the soul is cotton": Mitko Apostolovski bids farewell to his colleagues with great sadness

The renowned Macedonian theater, film and television actor Mitko Apostolovski died at the age of 67.

The news of his death shocked the Macedonian public, and his colleagues and friends are already saying goodbye to him with posts on social networks.

"Today, the doyen of Macedonian acting, the long-time member of the National Theater in Bitola, the actor with a unique stature and voice Mitko S. left us. Apostolovski. We will remember his exceptional charisma with which he captivated from the stage for a long time. May your path be bright, respected colleague", they shared from the National Theater in his native Bitola.

"Mitko S. died. Apostolovski. The actor who will be remembered on the movie screen for the line "Macedonia, that's a holy name, be your mother." A man from Bitol who worked for many years in the theater in Kumanovo and spoke perfect Kumanovo. Rest in peace Mice. May your path be bright. I'll see you there somewhere at some point", wrote the actor Toni Mihajlovski.

I had the opportunity to work with this great man and actor on my first professional play 'Jonadab' during which process I was amazed at his diction, top professionalism, inexhaustible energy and exceptional charisma with which he captivated from the stage, which we will never forget! He showed us in private that he is a wonderful person, a colleague, who is always in the mood for both a joke and a serious conversation! May our dear colleague, the doyen of Macedonian acting, actor Mitko Apostolovski, rest in peace. Condolences to the family," wrote actress Elizabeta Klincharevska-Mladenovska.
