The problem with the delay of bills, shipments, court delivery, lasts for a long time, but there is no improvement, and it especially affects the elderly citizens, who neither have the will nor the knowledge to work on a computer in order to regulate the utility costs.

Citizens who receive their electricity bills in paper form complain that they received them for March and April with a big delay, so they had to pay both at once, so that they would not be charged interest. The problem with the delay of bills, shipments, court deliverymen, has been going on for a long time, but there is no improvement, and it especially affects the elderly citizens, who have neither the will nor the knowledge to work on a computer and thus regulate the utility costs.

- The April bill was sent on May 8, and I received it on the 19th, as if it traveled from abroad? For March it was even more drastic, my bill came on May 2. I got two bills in one week, but I had to pay so that there would be no interest - complains a resident of Aerodrom.

"Sloboden Pechat" asked EVN Macedonia what is the reason for such a delay, and they put the blame on the delivery from the Post Office.

- EVN Macedonia uses the services of the Macedonian Post Office for the delivery of invoices for consumed electricity to users. For several years in a row, we have been offering numerous online services intended for users, and part of them is the electronic delivery of invoices. On the evnonline.mk page, users can register in a very quick and simple way to receive electricity invoices electronically or create a "My EVN Home" user profile and be able to download invoices at any time. With these services, they will receive invoices in a timely manner and avoid non-receipts or delays. In addition, to receive an invoice, users can contact our User Energy Centers and the Contact Center of EVN Macedonia - EVN informs.

The company also points out that electricity prices are determined by RKE, and the last one dates back to January 1 of this year, in response to citizens' reactions that they received higher bills in March and April. Unofficially, it was due to bad weather and low temperatures, which forced citizens to turn on additional heating sources.
