After the attempt of a dozen citizens to meet with the municipal authorities in Vrapcishte and to get an explanation about the suspension of works on the arrangement of the courtyard around the church of St. Petka, the police took measures and detained two people. Previously, the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office of Gostivar tried to clarify things through a statement after videos began to be shared on social networks about the events near a religious building in Galate, Gostivar, and refer to the alleged prevention of a group of citizens from building a church, with the police allegedly wanted to arrest the gathered citizens in front of the church in the village of Galate which was significantly damaged in the military conflict in 2001.
