The book "Krilche" by the authors Claudia Lagermann and Hanke Siemensma is a wonderful picture book for children over the age of three. The main character, Wing, is a cute bird who has a huge fear of flying. So, when his friends leave for the warm southern regions in the fall, Krilche will be left alone. However, Krilce may be timid, but he has a heart of gold. Helping all the animals he meets, he will become a real hero in no time.

Author Claudia Lagerman works as an editor at the Dutch children's newspaper Kidsvik and works on the development of children's programs for Dutch national television. "Krilche" is her first picture book.

Illustrator Hanke Siemensma studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. She won the 2021 Bank Street College Children's Book Award for her illustrations in The Little Wise Wolf.

The picture book "Krilce" in the Macedonian language was published with a translation by Maja Lazarevska within the framework of the project "Facing Uncertainty: Contemporary European Literature", which the publishing house "Artconnect" realized with the support of the "Creative Europe" program of the EU.
