A man from Skopje tried to import illegally acquired old coins, the police arrested him

At the Border Crossing "Tabanovce" this morning at 02:00 the police arrested a 42-year-old man from Skopje who tried to import illegally acquired old coins

- Today at 02.00:42 at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, police officers deprived J.S. (266) of Skopje of his liberty, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of the crime of "importing illegally obtained goods under temporary protection, cultural heritage and natural rarities" according to art. XNUMX-b of the Criminal Code.
Namely, during an additional control by police officers at J.S., who arrived at the border crossing with a "Volvo" passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, owned by him and driven by E.E. (39) from Skopje, they were found old coins in different sizes, the Ministry of the Interior announced.

The found items were confiscated and together with the detainee were handed over to police officers from the Kumanovo SVR for further proceedings. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will follow.
