Scandal: Former representative of the Netherlands accused of smuggling a ton of cocaine!

The 31-year-old former Dutch national team player Quincy Promes he could earn a long prison sentence after it's official accused of smuggling 1.3 tons of cocaine worth 75 million euros.

The information of the services is that Promes participated in the smuggling of cocaine in 2020 at the port of Antwerp in Belgium. Promez was the organizer of the smuggling and prepared the drugs to be released on the drug market.

According to the charges, the football player will have to appear before the court in Amsterdam on June 5, but because of the whole situation with Russia at this moment, he probably won't appear. Promes is currently playing for Spartak Moscow.

However, even if he does not appear in court, he will be tried in his absence. This is not the first time Promes has been in trouble with the law, he was previously involved in an incident in which he stabbed a relative at a birthday party.
