Syrian rebels to amnesty soldiers recruited by Assad
Syrian rebels have said they are granting amnesty to military personnel who were conscripted for conscription under Bashar al-Assad's rule.
"Their lives are safe and no attack on them is allowed," the rebels said in a statement.
