Ratko Mladic's son announced a review of the verdict

Darko Mladic, the son of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic, whose life sentence was upheld by a court in The Hague, announced a review of the verdict.

Darko Mladic said that the separate opinion of Judge Priska Matimba Niyamba would be very useful for the defense for the review.

He for TV Prva said a request would be sent and Mladic would be allowed to go for treatment because he was in such a state that serving a sentence in Britain or Estonia would be the death penalty for him.

"We will try to send a team of medical experts to him again." I saw that visits were normally allowed in the Dutch prison, where the UN prison is located. "At the moment, only the UN is holding some restrictions, and it was clear to me from the beginning that they misused the crown in order to stop General Mladic from consulting with doctors and lawyers." said Darko Mladic.

The Appeals Chamber of The Hague tribunal upheld the life sentence of Republika Srpska Army Chief of Staff Ratko Mladic five days ago.

The decisions were made with opposing views by Judge Niyamba, who at every point had positive views on Mladic's defense appeals and differing views from the rest of the appeals chamber.
