Namely, Marina Tucakovic died on September 19 after a long battle with cancer.

Marina was taken to hospital in the last days before her death due to deteriorating condition due to the coronavirus.

"I was prepared for the worst. The chances were not good. I was aware that Marina had given up on that fight. There is no way you can fight for your future life. What helped me were the people I was talking to at the time, who were supportive. I believed that a miracle could still happen. I received the news that she died while writing a text. I said that day - "Well, this can take time, maybe a miracle will happen, then it was a holiday when miracles happen, if you pray for someone's healing - miracles do not always happen," said Laka and added:

"I was writing a text with my colleague on the phone, the news of the death arrived, I was quite calm. The shock came after a few days. My best friend came after me, unfortunately, I could not go to my father because he was positive for coyote, that was the saddest thing for me. I told him the news over the phone. The conversation was very real and rational. We said, let's go to sleep and see what to do. We tried to sleep. We did not communicate much. "His condition was worse because of the covid, so we decided to move the funeral to 10 days, when he will not be infected so that he can attend the funeral," said Marina's son.

Tucakovic in her career has collaborated and is responsible for the successful careers of many local personalities such as Ceca, Oliver Mandic, Dragana Mirkovic, Jelena Karleuшаa, Lepa Brena, Vesna Zmijanac, Zdravko ќoliќ, Tose Proeski, љeljko Samardџieva, Ukraшеena Neva, Sverina .

Her last wish was to be buried next to her son Milos, not in the Alley of Merited Citizens.
