"I expect President Pendarovski to sign the decree on the Census Law, because every hour is important to be ready in time for the implementation of this statistical operation in April," said the director of the State Statistical Office Apostol Simovski for "Free Press".

- I hope that the whole procedure around this law will pass. I expect that the decree will be signed, because I do not think that legal experts would encounter inconsistencies in the legal solution - says Simovski.

Earlier, Villa Vodno informed that President Pendarovski is consulting with legal experts on the adopted Law on Census and will announce his position in the next few days. In the meantime, VMRO-DPMNE called on the President to come out, as they say, from the shadow of Zaev, and not to sign the decree.

If the law still gets the green light from Pendarovski, the opposition announces that they have mechanisms to prevent the census.
