The symbolic link between photography and graphics is shown in an exhibition at the Institut Française
At the French Institute in Skopje on November 7, at 18 pm, the exhibition entitled "Photographic Experiments" will be opened. The exhibition shows the symbolic relationship between photography and printmaking as media for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
It is a project created by the two artists Ana Trajkovska and Jana Lulovska, which was premiered at the "Open Atelier" event during their two-month stay at the prestigious institution "Cité internationale des arts" in Paris.
"Photo-graphic experiments" is an artistic fusion of photography, graphics and installation and is a tribute to the essence of Paris through the prism of collaborative art, which invites reflection on the invisible layers of the city, hidden under the surface.
These are works in which, through a unique approach, the two artists explore the timeless cultural-historical sights and architecture of Paris, as a fusion of the past and the present.
The French Institute in Skopje is setting up the exhibition after its Paris premiere, and within the framework of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of its existence. The exhibition will be open for visits until the end of the year.
