President Siljanovska-Davkova is on a several-day visit to the Vatican and Rome, where today in the Apostolic Palace she had an audience with the Head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis.

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev was also at the audience with the Pope today, but Siljanovska-Davkova and Radev did not meet due to, as Siljanovska-Davkova pointed out, a mismatch of agendas. There was a readiness for a meeting on both sides and it is planned for a future occasion.

- We have expressed readiness, but a meeting will not take place. Both delegations have plans, but we said that we will implement them as soon as possible, said Siljanovska-Davkova.

Today, Radev will attend the liturgy for St. Cyril in the "St. Kliment" basilica and in the "Santa Maria Maggiore" church, and President Siljanovska-Davkova, according to the agenda, will tomorrow mark the Day of All-Slavic Educators by visiting the "St. Kliment" basilica, where there is the grave of St. Cyril.
