President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova today received the credentials of the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Satibaldi Burshakov.

At the ceremony of handing over the credentials, President Siljanovska Davkova emphasized Macedonian interest and readiness for further overall improvement and development of relations and cooperation with Kazakhstan in all domains of mutual interest, both bilaterally and multilaterally. In that direction, the President expressed hope that Ambassador Burshakov, within the framework of his future engagement, will contribute to their overall strengthening, introducing new contents and forms through more intensive political dialogue and strengthened economic cooperation.

In his address, Ambassador Satibaldi Burshakov emphasized that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Kazakh-Macedonian cooperation has been rapidly progressing based on mutual ties of friendship, mutual understanding and common values. The ambassador added that he is honored to be the first resident Kazakh ambassador in Skopje, highlighting his country's unwavering commitment to strengthening political, trade and investment partnership, as well as deepening cultural ties in the interest of both nations.

President Siljanovska Davkova wished the newly appointed ambassador success in the performance of his responsible diplomatic function.
