What she is doing today: Dragana Kostadinovska, actress
Macedonian actress Dragana Kostadinovska has in her portfolio numerous theater and film projects and main characters, as in the plays; "The Master and Margarita", "Moliere's Life", "Let's Go Senior", "Figaro's Wedding", "Macbeth", in the TV series "Ordinary People", "In Therapy", in the films "The Balkans Are Not Dead" "," Hey "…
This time, Dragana captured what her everyday life looks like.
"I am happy that due to the nature of my profession, every day is different and does not resemble the previous one. Of course I want to be organized and know exactly when and what I am doing, but I could not imagine functioning in a routine that will not change for a long time.
I do, however, have a few daily rituals that I enjoy and rarely skip.
Every morning my dog and I walk in the beautiful City Park and enjoy the "Velo-kafe macchiato" by the pond opposite the stadium. It seems to me that there is no better place in Skopje than the City Park. I wish that we visitors learn more to take care of it, and to pay more attention to the garbage that sometimes fills the park. In the evening, a glass of wine before bed. Everything in between is unpredictable.
When I have rehearsals and plays in the theater, it is very important for me to walk from home to MNT and back home when I have finished my duties. I avoid going by car. This ritual of walking is important to me because it is a time when when I go to the theater I mentally prepare for the task ahead of me, and when I return home, I slowly relax and leave the working day behind.
The last few days are in the sign of the preparations for the upcoming tour of the play "Things we are not talking about" co-produced by the Wonderland Theater and MNT. After the successful premiere and performances in Skopje, during December we will be guests in Belgrade, Bitola, Radom (Poland), Sarajevo and Stip. "I am especially excited about this tour because I think it is a great way to end a beautiful theater year, and on the other hand, given the conditions in which we live, it is a really complex and courageous endeavor."
