Free public transport for all pensioners in Skopje every day of the week, free medical transport for the elderly and people with disabilities to health institutions in the city, promised among others Petre Shilegov, candidate for mayor of Skopje from SDSM.

- People with rare diseases living in Skopje will also be able to use public transport free of charge. We alleviate the costs of the chronic therapy they receive through a financial exemption for public transport, for them and for accompanying them when using the transport. We provide free transportation in the city buses to all postgraduates and doctoral students who study in Skopje. Students from the state primary schools in the city will receive up to 50% cheaper meal during their stay at the school, said Shilegov today, presenting part of his pre-election program.

He promises 100 scholarships in the amount of 12.000 denars per month for the best high school students from Skopje who will enroll in one of the state universities, and for every high school student from the public schools, free fruit during the school stay.

- We subsidize the care of children in state kindergartens by covering a maximum of 50% of the monthly cost. To fulfill the desire for offspring, we help the process of biomedically assisted fertilization through financial support of couples. We supplement the family budget for additional expenses that are not recognized by the basic benefits of the Health Insurance Fund or in an additional attempt that is not covered by the Fund, added Shilegov.
