Shannon Doherty accuses ex-husband: 'He spent my medical money on his mistress'
Shannon Doherty, the star of the cult television series "Beverly Hills 90210" ("Beverly Hills, 90210"), criticized the spending habits of her ex-husband Kurt Isvarienko in a new request for spousal support. Namely, the 53-year-old actress submitted the documents in Los Angeles on Friday, June 14. says "US Magazine".
In the aforementioned documents, the actress is seeking $15.343 in monthly support, "retroactive to June 1, 2024."
She also asked the 49-year-old photographer to cover her legal costs in the amount of $9.100, the Daily Mail reports.
"Due to my health problems, I was mostly unable to work and had no prospects for future employment. "Today, almost all of the income I earn came from the jobs I held before marriage," she wrote.
She pointed out that most of the mentioned income comes from the broadcast of the series "Charmed", which was broadcast from 1998 to 2006, but emphasized that it will not last long.
"I recently learned that 'Enchanted' will no longer air on any major film platform after June 30, 2024. Therefore, my future income will decrease drastically,” she added.
As for additional information about the financial situation of the former television star, this 53-year-old actress is not working, that is, she has been filming since 2022. Doherty believes her ex-husband, to whom she was married from 2011 to 2023, has enough funds to cover her medical expenses.
"While I was unable to work, medical expenses not covered by insurance piled up, and Kurt was constantly flying, spending thousands of dollars on spas, jewelry stores, buying brands like Gucci, and spending money on his 'agent,' all while claiming that he doesn't have enough funds to support me," Doherty claims.
Additionally, she emphasized that Isvarienko's agent, Collier Grimm, is also "his romantic partner."
She also noted that Isvarienko did not provide the necessary documents to assess his "earnings, property and income." For that reason, the Hollywood veteran asked Isvarienko for another $11.800 in royalties, which she says she paid "in an effort to get full answers from Kurt."
"It is very clear to me that Kurt is deliberately delaying the settlement in the hope that I will not survive the divorce case," she concluded.
By the way, Doherty claims that she discovered that her husband was having an affair shortly before she was scheduled to undergo surgery for a brain tumor. In the premiere episode of her podcast, Let's Get It Straight, she recalled how she dealt with her divorce while simultaneously battling stage four cancer earlier this year.
"I went into surgery early in the morning after I found out that my marriage was actually over, that my husband had been having an affair for two years," she said.
Although the actress admits that Isvarienko "wanted" to be with her, in the end she decided that she "couldn't stand it".
