Recently, the actress in an interview for "Vanity Fairconfirmed that it was a great idea and said that she was ready to accept such a role and that she simply lacked a studio that would be willing to make such a film.
"Yes, I would, that's why I immediately responded on Twitter, because I just thought then, and I still think it's great. I thought, "This person needs to start suggesting things." That's a great idea. And the fact that it would be two women, I immediately thought, 'Yeah, sign me up for that,'" Theron said.
In action hits like "The Old Guard," "Atomic Blonde" and "Mad Max: Fury Road," Theron showed exceptional talent in numerous intense scenes. That's why no one would suspect that she would do well in the female version of the iconic John McClane, but for now there are no specific contracts for a similar film.
