We will accept everything that is in the direction of the legal basis, in terms of shortening the matriculation material, the Minister of Education and Science said today Jeton Shaqiri. He expects to have a concrete answer from the State Examination Center by the end of this week or the beginning of next week.

He announced that he is in regular communication with the student union and the students who were at the protest, and they are also communicating with the State Examination Center and have been informed about all the parts that are planned to be implemented in the state matura.

We will accept all requests that can be considered, he added.

Regarding the student meal, the minister expects the payment to be made faster this month.

A proposal has already been submitted by a group of MPs, which includes a higher value of the debt, but also the systemic solution for debt, which requires amendments to the law. I expect full support from the MPs, he says.

On Friday, high school students protested in front of the Ministry of Education and Culture with a request to shorten the exam material for the state matriculation exam or to reduce the number of internal exams. The protest of the Organization for Dialogue and Affirmation of High School Students and Students (ODOS) was also supported by students from the "Student Resistance" movement who updated their problems.
