The Minister of Education and Science, Jeton Shaqiri, says that according to the information he has now, he does not believe that they can completely close vocational education with textbooks because it covers many subjects.

In a statement to Detector TV Sitel Shaqiri said that there are many specialist subjects so that they can all be covered.

- In reality, we don't have money for textbooks for all subjects in secondary education, said Shaqiri.

At the same time, he added that the main reason for the delay in textbooks was the introduced reforms and that only the classes that study according to the new program have problems with textbooks, while for other students, although with a delay, they were still assigned.

Shaqiri said that he will make every effort to ensure that students are left without textbooks again.

-According to the data that I have now, I do not believe that we can completely close vocational education with textbooks because it deals with many subjects. Realistically, we do not have all subjects for secondary education. For primary school, all subjects are provided for the new concept and the part that remains for secondary education will be replenished, said the Minister of Education.

He also said that the option of students buying their own textbooks is not being considered yet.
