The Minister of Education and Science, Jeton Shaqiri said in the morning program "Sloboden Pechat" on Slobodna TV that talks are ongoing with the Ministry of Economy and every possibility is being considered to reward students with high success.

- I don't know how it will go, but it is to be welcomed because for the first time with the Ministry of Economy we will introduce a way to support those students who are excellent or for all students, it depends on the analysis we will do. These measures should continue even after that period of six months - clarified Shaqiri.

In a guest appearance on Slobodna TV, Shaqiri added that in the coming days, the bill for applying for the ninth package of anti-crisis measures is expected to pass.

I can say that we, as a Ministry, have made a proposal on how the application process should look, because it concerns a large number of primary and secondary schools, different environments, and our proposal is that in this process, the application, especially in primary schools where the children are very young age, it should go first through the parents and the school, and then that data should be submitted to the MES, and we will submit it to the IRS with a committee, the minister clarified.

According to Shaqiri, about 150.000 elementary and high school students are expected to apply for the package of anti-crisis measures.
