Sela: If you vote for Kovacevski's government, you also vote for the "Open Balkans" that Kosovo leaves aside
At the end of the debate we are for the creation of a new majority. In the short term, the program of the government and the candidates for ministers are discussed again. The discussion on legitimacy stands out and it is rightly discussed, he said MP and leader of the Alliance for Albanians Zijadin Sela.
- Each of us has his own view on this very important issue, because to talk about democracy in our country is very difficult. I think the government has lost its legitimacy. The legitimacy of the prime minister-designate has been lost. It is true that the prime minister-designate did not ask for trust from the citizens and as such has no obligation towards them. Zaev himself fueled the debate over the legitimacy of this majority with his resignation. We as the opposition have the right to tell you that this government has no political legitimacy. This majority composed of SDSM and DUI with the actions of their leader yesterday destroyed that legitimacy. Legitimacy is a consumable. DUI has demanded an Albanian prime minister. We still hear debates that the last 100 days the Prime Minister will be Albanian, and they do not debate for the needs of the citizens. Today, for the second time, you are burning political legitimacy. "Alternative together with us took a mandate to end the political monism of 20 years of DUI rule. Alternative now has no legitimacy," Sela said.
He warned MPs that if they vote for Kovacevski's government, they will also vote for the "Open Balkans" project, which, as he said, puts Kosovo aside.
