Seven dead in a fire in the Moscow region

Seven people died and eight were injured in a fire that broke out today in a house in the city of Istra in the Moscow region, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced.

The fire was reported this morning around four o'clock local time, and the firefighters extinguished it by nine o'clock.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations announced that a woman was hospitalized, and the regional prosecutor's office opened an investigation into the incident.
