Voter turnout in Debar is increasing
In the afternoon, the turnout of the voting in today's second round for mayor of Debar increases.
According to Rilind Hasa, chairman of the Municipal Election Commission, by 15pm, 29 per cent of the total number registered in the single voter list had exercised their right to vote, which is four per cent more than in the first round.
- Out of the total of 19.211 registered voters, 5.561 citizens or 29 percent exercised their right, which is four percent more compared to the first round. "By 15 pm, 4.784 or 25 percent of the vote had been exercised," Hasa told MIA.
He added that so far nine complaints for protection of personal suffrage have been submitted and they have been accepted.
According to him, MEC members regularly tour the polling stations in order to inspect the work of the election boards.
