1.100 licenses are being checked in accordance with the Construction Law and the Urban Planning Law, 97 companies will have their licenses revoked
It has been established that after the issuance of the licenses, the legal entities have ceased to meet the legal conditions on the basis of which they were issued. Checks will also be carried out on the issued licenses for road transport, announced the Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski.
The control carried out by the Ministry of Transport regarding the Law on Construction and Urban Planning should be completed by Tuesday, and then clear legal amendments will follow, announced the Minister of Transport and Communications Aleksandar Nikoloski at a press conference in the Government. The control covers the contractors of constructions of the first and second categories, the supervision of constructions of both categories and their design, as well as the revision of the project documentation, and also covers the managers of the buildings and their licenses for the preparation of urban plans. Nikoloski did not reveal how many laws will need to be changed, but said that a working group has already been formed and is working intensively. At the moment, according to Minister Nikoloski, it can only be said that the control of all issued licenses will be tightened and it will have to be carried out every 6 months.

-As a government, we have decided to control all licenses issued by ministries and institutions, regardless of what they relate to and what type they are. In my ministry, the activities have already begun, and 1.100 licenses are subject to control, of which 643 have been checked so far. We expect to finish by next Tuesday. Of those checked, 97 licenses have been revoked, i.e. for over 15 percent of those checked so far, it was found that the legal entities ceased to meet the requirements after receiving the licenses, and did not inform us about it. Therefore, their licenses will be revoked. 13 legal entities have had their A construction contractor licenses revoked, 34 legal entities have had their B construction contractor licenses revoked, two companies have had their A construction supervision license revoked, 6 legal entities have had their B construction supervision license revoked, one person has been left without a facility maintenance manager license, and 16 people have had their license for the preparation of detailed urban plans revoked. The inspection of all road transport licenses will be completed by Tuesday, and you will be informed accordingly, Nikoloski said.
Nikoloski indicated that the entire report will be submitted to the law enforcement agencies and then he expects them to act. The laws must be changed because they are now very stretched, they will be appealed and it is not known how the proceedings will end.
According to the Minister of Transport, the idea is to make a major revision of the existing legal solutions, and therefore VMRO-DPMNE has unequivocally expressed full political support for the Government and the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The problems with the facility in Kocani arose due to internal adaptations
The Ministry of Transport had no jurisdiction over the Pulse disco, but Nikoloski revealed that the facility was built in 1999, according to a valid plan within the Municipality of Kocani.
-It was built primarily for light non-polluting industry, for a certain period it was a sewing shop, and then it was used as a warehouse. Then a part of 50 square meters was added to it, which was legalized in 2011. Which means that from the perspective of urban planning, the law was respected, and the problems arose when adaptations and reconstructions began in the interior, without any approval from anyone and a seal was put on it by a certain person. The persons who put the seal and signature were private individuals. Then all the documents were obtained by the Ministry of Economy, but a large space is left to the conscience of the applicant who guarantees with a notary's statement, and the notary has no way to check. Therefore, there must be serious legal changes. We will leave the work to the Ministry of Interior and the Public Prosecutor's Office, our work ends here - added Nikoloski.
