Recently, the media published disturbing surveillance footage showing the American producer and rapper Sean Combs (54), known as Didi, commits brutal violence against his ex-partner Cassandra Ventura (37), known as Cashier, at the Intercontinental Hotel in 2016.

Cassie has received support from many people, and now she has decided to announce the situation on her Instagram account for the first time. Namely, the American singer and dancer spoke about the violence she experienced, and then thanked everyone for their support.

"Thank you for all the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet. Expressing love has created a place where the younger version of me can calm down and now feel safe, but this is only the beginning. Domestic violence is a problem. It broke me that I had become the person I thought I would never be. But with a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always recover from my past," he wrote at the beginning.

In this way, she wanted to show that support for victims is very important.

"Thank you all for taking the time to take this matter seriously. My only request is that everyone opens their hearts to the victims. "It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth from a situation where you were powerless," she pointed out.

At the end she said that she is here for those who still live in fear and that she recommends it to others because no one should have to carry this burden alone. She explained that the "healing" never ends, but that support means a lot.

As a reminder, on May 16, CNN published footage from a surveillance camera from 2016, which was located at the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles.

The footage shows Cassie leaving the hotel room and heading towards the elevators. Combs, holding a towel around her waist, runs down the hall after her, then grabs her by the back of the head and throws her to the floor, holding the towel in one hand as she turns to kick her.

While Ventura is on the floor, Combs picks up the bags from the floor and turns and punches her again as she lies motionless on the floor, then drags her towards the room. However, he lets her go, and she remains sitting on the floor. Seconds later, Ventura slowly gets up and picks up his things from the floor and moves to the phone on the wall in the hallway near the elevators. Seconds later, the camera shows Combs sitting in the hallway, angrily picking up an object from the table and throwing it.

After the publication of this recording, Didi apologized and stated that at that moment he was aware and takes full responsibility for his actions.
