Protest march announced: "The silence is ending - we've had enough, the system is next"

The "Who's Next?" movement is announcing a protest "march for responsibility and safety" on social media, following the tragedy at the "Pulse" disco in Kocani, in which 59 young people lost their lives and around 200 were injured.

The march will be held under the motto "Enough of us, the system is next", which will take place on Monday, March 24, and will start from Macedonia Square in Skopje, say the organizers.

"We will be silent until Sunday. But from Monday, the silence ends. From Monday, we will see you on the streets – loud, uncompromising and united. So that there is no forgetting and no more lives lost due to insecurity and irresponsibility!" the organizers' call on social media reads.

The civic movement "Who's Next?" says its mission is to fight systemic dysfunction and that it demands "safe cities, accountable institutions, and an end to the glorification of deviant behavior."

Previously, a protest in Tetovo was also announced by the "Zero" initiative, whose representatives today left a fire extinguisher in front of the entrance to the Tetovo court, as they said, for their safety and as a symbol of the urgent need for true justice.
