Good news has arrived from Gemania, the dream of Or at(16) and Eve (13) Sokolovski becomes a reality. Our two girls, who collected all possible medals in rhythmic gymnastics in Germany, will now finally defend the colors of our country. Ilina and Eva will compete under the Macedonian flag at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, which will be held in Budapest!

Both are very happy, because all these years, as long as they compete, even though they have a Macedonian passport, they competed for Germany, they were born and live there with their families.

"Finally my dream came true, ever since I started I wished one day to stand under the Macedonian flag. When I perform for Macedonia, my trainers from Germany, with whom I have been working for 10 years, will support me. This sport does not exist in Macedonia and there are no coaches who will meet the norm for international competitions. My sister and I are looking forward to representing Macedonia at the Balkan, European and world competitions," Ilina told us.

While waiting for the big event, Ilina and Eva started the new season with new medals. In January, Eva had a friendly traditional competition in Borken, where she won first place. On February 11, the first qualifiers for the season took place in Gutersloh, where Eva was again first, while Ilina won second place. On February 19, Eva competed in Bochum in a national traditional competition and again won first place.

Such successes have already become a normal thing for the two Macedonian women, many medals adorn the windows of their clubs, the only thing missing was a competition for the mother country, because every Macedonian's desire is to represent his own country.

Indeed, our dream came true to represent Macedonia. The necessary documents are already being prepared and we are very happy with Eva that we will be representing Macedonia! It's hard work, hard training, but that doesn't scare us, this is how we've been working since we started. Our motive is greater now, we are Macedonian, with a Macedonian passport and under the Macedonian flag, we will try to present our homeland in the best light on the European sports scene, says Ilina.

The song "When it fell to Pirina" from "Next Time" was Ilina's inspiration for a performance at the International Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition in Germany, where she won the runner-up spot.
