Voting in the local elections starts at 7.00 am and lasts uninterruptedly until 19.00 pm. If the voting is interrupted for more than one hour, it will continue for as long as the interruption lasted, but not longer than three hours.

At 19.00 the polling stations close. Voters found in the polling station are allowed to vote. The polling station where all citizens registered in the excerpt from the Voters' List voted can be closed before 19.00, with the prior consent of the competent MEC, but it does not start counting the votes before 19.00.

The Electoral Board submits the minutes and other election material to the Municipal Election Commission, ie the Election Commission of the City of Skopje, within five hours after the end of the voting. The election material is submitted to the MEC by the EB President accompanied by interested EB members or representatives of the list submitters and police representatives, if necessary.
