"Mickoski once again showed that he is just a simple hostage of Dimitar Apasiev and the Left, a classic anti-European politician," said the ruling Social Democratic Union in reaction to tonight's interview with the opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski on Channel 5.

Here is the full reaction from SDSM:

"Besides following Dimitar Apasiev in a daily competition for blockades and braking the state, Hristijan Mickoski has no other plan. The coalition of VMRO-DPMNE and the Left is a coalition of chaos and retrogression. Their only goal is to obstruct the European path of the country. That's why we didn't hear a word from Mickoski about the successful handling of the energy and economic crisis, about increased salaries and pensions, about the record amount of foreign investments.
All the announcements of Mickovski and the Left have failed, the state will soon fail, there will not be enough electricity, gas, gasoline, that there will be electricity restrictions, interruptions and shortages of food in supermarkets.

Kovacevski managed to save the Macedonian economy, which is rapidly recovering from the crisis. Inflation is under control, and Kovacevski's policies reduce the prices of bread, pasta, milk, meat, and eggs. In addition, today Hristijan Mickoski admitted that he lied to the people and his membership for months that he has 61 MPs and will dissolve the Parliament this spring. Instead of dissolution, we have an increased and stable parliamentary majority led by SDSM. SDSM will not give up on the European future, we will strongly and decisively continue on the European path. Mickoski and Apasiev are waiting for new defeats," SDSM said.

A government with a DUI for Mickoski is an undesirable scenario: "For affairs, they will suit each other"
