The Serbian vice-champion Partizan appointed Savo Milosevic as the team's new coach less than 24 hours after the dismissal he handed to Ilija Stolica.

This means the return of Milosevic to the Partizan bench, as he previously led the team from 2019 to 2020. Milosevic had 67 wins, 43 draws and 9 losses in 15 matches as coach of the "black and whites", and triumphed in the Serbian Cup in 2019.

In the 2019/2020 season. Partizan eliminated Malatya and Molde and advanced to the group stage of the Europa League.

Ilija Stolica was fired after defeating the poor results of the team, Partizan after four rounds in the Serbian Super League, won five points and is seven less than Crvena zvezda, which is the main favorite for the title. The next match for Partizan is the match on Sunday against Mladost in Novi Sad.
