The former director of UBC, Sasho Mijalkov, and his brother, Vladimir Mijalkov, from the Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archdiocese were awarded the Order of "Saint Nicholas". The award was given to them by Metropolitan Hilarion of Bregalnica for their foundational contribution to the construction of the church "Holy Great Martyr Dimitrij" in Novo Selo, Stip.

The church "St. Wmch. Dimitrij" and the Holy Bishop's Liturgy in Novo Selo, which was consecrated on Sunday, is a project that the Mijalkov brothers financially supported in their native region.

In May, Mijalkov was released early from the prison in Struga, where he was serving his sentence for the "Empire" case. He was accused in several other cases of the former SJO, but some of them expired, and he was acquitted in the "Torture" and "Treasury" cases.
