Steve Kirsch (67), an American rich man who became famous for the invention of an optical mouse, shared on Twitter a bizarre episode from the plane of "Delta Airlines", writes a British "San".

Namely, Kirsch offered a female passenger 100.000 dollars (94.000 euros) to take off her protective mask.

We are talking about a well-known anti-vaxxer and skeptic about the coronavirus, who was previously accused of spreading misinformation about the coronavirus pandemic on the Internet.

He shared the unusual conversation with the passenger Kirsh on Twitter. He explains that he first started the $100 offer by asking the passenger sitting next to him in first class to remove her protective mask. She politely declined his offer, but Kirsch, whose fortune is estimated at 216 million euros, decided to up the ante.

"The person sitting next to me in first class refused $100.000 when I asked her to take off her mask for the rest of the flight. I am not joking. And that after I explained to her that the masks have no effect. She is employed in a pharmaceutical company," he wrote.

Kirsch also posted a selfie on Twitter showing that the plane was full.

The millionaire could not be surprised that the woman did not want to take off her mask until the food arrived.

"She took off her mask as soon as breakfast came!" Because we all know you can't get infected while eating! I pointed out to her the fact that one breath is enough to get infected. I completely exposed her. Maybe next time I'll be sitting next to someone with a Silicon Valley Bank account," Kirsch joked at the end.

To recall, the recent collapse of the Bank of Silicon Valley caused turmoil in the world stock markets.

Kirsch's unusual anecdote from the plane did not sit well with everyone. Many on Twitter expressed concern over his "aggressive" behavior. Some accused him of harassing a passenger with anti-covid conspiracy theories.

"This is really creepy, you understand, right?" Everything, from the request to the fact that you decided to tweet about it," one user wrote.

"You're the person we all want to avoid on the plane," another tweeter said.

"I bet the lady regretted sitting somewhere else," is another in a string of negative comments.

There are more than 32.000 comments under Kirsch's Twitter post.
