The government, through the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Public Enterprise for State Roads (JPDP), will not increase the price for the collection of the road tax, informs the relevant Ministry and adds that we remain the only country in the region that will not increase the prices of tolls.

As stated in the announcement, the money collected from the collection of the road tax, according to the Government's plans, will be invested directly in the implementation of the largest infrastructure projects, namely in the construction of highways on Corridor 8 and 10d, as well as on the rest of the highway sections with a total length of over 190 kilometers, in the construction of expressways in the length of 64 kilometers, in the rehabilitation of regional and main roads of over 150 kilometers and in over 450 kilometers of local roads.

- Initial analyzes showed that the prices of construction materials in the infrastructure this year alone compared to 2021 have increased between 30 and 55 percent and are in constant oscillation, which directly affect the budget of the Public Enterprise for State Roads and the realization of capital projects. But even in such conditions with increased prices of construction materials, the Government, through the Ministry of Transport and Communications JPDP, remains of the opinion that the price of tolls will not increase, it is written in the announcement from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
