Health care will function as it has for the past 30 years and we will not face a shortage of electricity or heat energy at all, said the Minister of Health, Bekim Sali.

In response to a journalist's question at today's delivery of a donation from Islamic Relief to the University Clinic for Pulmonology and Allergology, Minister Sali informed that two weeks ago a letter was sent to all public health institutions to ensure the minimum saving of electricity.

- If we manage to save up to five percent, not in the vital part, but in the supporting parts, such as night lighting of the facilities, the parks, we will achieve minimal savings in the entire system, said the minister.

The director of the Pulmonology Clinic, Dr. Dejan Dokić, said that he expects to receive sufficient funds from the Health Fund and expects help from all institutions.

– I feel obliged to negotiate with the Health Fund, so that we can get additional funds. All institutions should come to the rescue, because it is about patients, about their lives. The clinic is in debt, the electricity bills are common with all internal clinics, so we don't know the exact amount for our clinic, because the common costs are shared percentageally, added Dr. Dokic.
