Saitoski: The expectations are high, against Ukraine and Armenia to prove our quality

The national team of Macedonia under 21 in early June will play the last two qualifying matches for the 2023 European Championship in Romania and Georgia.

On June 2, at the training center "Petar Milosheski" - Skopje, the selection of Armenia. Three days later, in the last round of the qualification group "X", we will play the match against Ukraine in Istanbul, Turkey.

The list includes most of the players who are expected to be one of the main bearers of this generation in the next qualifying round.

Macedonia U21 failed to qualify for the next European Championship 2023, but Saitoski believes that the last two matches can improve the impression and with a good game it will be a good announcement for the next cycle.

- To be honest, when it comes to the national team, and even for his country, the expectations are very high. I expect us to win, although Ukraine and Armenia have a lot of quality players. But we, with our commitment, with our quality, must prove it on the field - says Saitoski.
