We will not be able to contain Israel and we will not be sure that the next Israeli response will be as balanced as the previous one, the portal reports the words of an American official, who stated that this message from Washington to Tehran was conveyed to him through intermediaries from Switzerland.

Israel's half-day attack on Iran on October 25 followed weeks of consultations with the United States about the targets of the airstrikes.

The website Axios, citing Israeli intelligence sources, reported that Iran is preparing to launch a fierce attack on Israel from Iraqi territory ahead of the November 5 US presidential election.

According to these sources, Tehran may conduct an operation involving a large number of drones and ballistic missiles, reports Tass.

On October 1, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel in response to the assassinations of key figures in the leadership of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and Israel retaliated on October 25.
