Russian MMA fighter Marif Piraev was drafted into the army, but he decided to flee the country.
Russia launched a military invasion of Ukraine on February 24, but President Vladimir Putin last week announced a general war mobilization and announced that 300.000 Russians would be mobilized to go to the front.

The call to call a military mobilizer did not pass the athletes, and among them was Piraev, who a few days ago was supposed to report to the commission for the recruitment of new soldiers. But the MMA fighter escaped from Russia, reveals his friend Shamil Gamilov.

According to the media, Piraev escaped across the Russian-Georgian border.
