A terrible murder shocked Russia, hockey player Roman Didur was stabbed in the heart in front of a nightclub in Moscow, Russian media write. Didur was a member of the Gasoilers from Moscow, a club that competes in Russia's second hockey league.
According to Russian media, Didur had an argument with a certain Armen Kujumdzi in the nightclub, after which the two went out to resolve their disagreements and it ended tragically. The young hockey player was stabbed in the heart and bled to death before the ambulance arrived.
The killer was arrested three hours later in an apartment not far from the scene of the tragic event and is currently in custody.
Didur in his career played in 165 games and had 128 points (goals and assists).
