The military commissar of the Khabarovsk region in Russia has been removed from his post, after half of the newly mobilized were sent home because they did not meet the necessary conditions, the governor of this region, Mikhail Degtyarev, said today.

"Regional military officer Yuri Sergeevich Laiko was removed from his post today. This will in no way affect the execution of the goals set before us by President Vladimir Putin. We are working together with the Ministry of Defense, our industry, organizations and all relevant agencies," Degtyarjev said in a video posted on the Telegram social network.

According to the governor, as part of the partial military mobilization, several thousand residents of the Khabarovsk region were invited, but half of them were sent home, because they did not meet the necessary conditions for military service.
